By accessing or using the ChiefOps HQ platform ("ChiefOps," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website at chiefopshq.com, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. By creating an account or using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
ChiefOps is a construction management platform designed for contractors, subcontractors, and construction businesses. The Service is available to users in all 50 United States, U.S. territories, and internationally where not prohibited by law. The Service includes tools for crew management, time tracking and GPS clock-in, invoicing, bid management, submittals, RFIs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), scheduling, document management, and related features accessible through our web and mobile applications. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@chiefopshq.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. ChiefOps is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
New accounts are eligible for a 14-day free trial. A valid credit card is required to start the trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.
Subscription plans start at $47 per month. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. Prices are subject to change with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing cycle.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@chiefopshq.com. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service through the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to managing your construction business. You may not:

The ChiefOps platform, including its design, code, branding, logos, and documentation, is the property of ChiefOps HQ LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes. This license does not grant you ownership of any part of the Service. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by ChiefOps HQ LLC.
You retain full ownership of all data, documents, and content you upload or create through the Service ("User Content"). This includes employee records, project information, invoices, bids, SOPs, and any other business data. By using the Service, you grant ChiefOps a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the Service to you. We will not sell, share, or use your User Content for any purpose other than delivering the Service, except as required by law. Upon account termination, you may request an export of your data.
Certain features of the Service, including the SOP generator, use artificial intelligence (AI) to create or assist with content. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and for convenience only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content before using it in your business operations.
ChiefOps does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any specific purpose. AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or information that does not comply with your local regulations, safety standards, or jobsite requirements. ChiefOps is not liable for any damages, injuries, regulatory violations, or losses arising from the use of AI-generated content that has not been reviewed and approved by a qualified person within your organization.
The Service includes GPS-based clock-in features that collect location data from your employees' devices. GPS data is collected only during active clock-in and clock-out events and only with the device user's permission. It is your responsibility as an employer to inform your employees about GPS data collection and obtain any required consent under applicable laws. Location permissions can be revoked at any time through device settings. For more details on how we handle location data, see our Privacy Policy.

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. ChiefOps is not responsible for the actions, availability, or policies of third-party service providers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChiefOps HQ LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to ChiefOps in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ChiefOps HQ LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation. This includes any claims related to employment data you enter, AI-generated content you use without review, or GPS data collected from your employees.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting support@chiefopshq.com. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if continued use poses a risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We will retain your data for 30 days following termination to allow you to request an export, after which it will be permanently deleted unless retention is required by law.
The Service is operated by ChiefOps HQ LLC from the State of Florida and is available to users throughout the United States, its territories, and internationally. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should cancel your subscription before they take effect.
